CA Supply Chain Act

Introduction
This California Transparency in Supply Chains Act Disclosure (the "Disclosure") applies to Teak Designs Direct ("we", "our", or "us"). As a company doing business in California, we are required by the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act ("Act") to disclose our efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from our direct supply chain.

Verification
We are committed to ethical and socially responsible conduct in the workplace. We expect the same commitment from our suppliers. We conduct risk-based assessments of our suppliers to verify the risk of human trafficking and slavery in our supply chain.

Audit
To assess whether our suppliers comply with our standards for human trafficking and slavery, we perform audits of our suppliers. These audits are conducted by our internal team or by third-party auditors, as required.

Certification
Our direct suppliers are required to certify that they comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which includes compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding human trafficking and slavery in the countries in which our suppliers are doing business.

Internal Accountability
We maintain internal accountability procedures for employees and contractors regarding company standards, ethics, and compliance programs. Employees and contractors who violate these standards may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract.

Training
We provide training to our employees and management who have direct responsibility for supply chain management. The training includes information on human trafficking and slavery, particularly with respect to mitigating risks within the supply chains of products.
